Part of what differentiates (OS1) Users from other organizations is their continual commitment to education, training, and improvement. Below are the philosophies that these organizations subscribe to and some of the annual events and activities the (OS1) Users participate in.

Janitor University This year we will celebrate the fiftieth class of Janitor University. The festivities are planned all through 2007. Since 1993 Janitor University has been the premiere cleaning industry executive education institution. The actual 50th Class will be the June Class and a special block of seats will be made available for students registering for their Masters Degree program during the June class. Expert Trainer Course The Expert Trainer Course continues in 2007 with our unique partnership with the Disney organization. The classes will be held at the Walt Disney World Contemporary Hotel and Convention Center. This year the class has been expanded to two days and three nights of (OS1) Trainer activities. (OS1) Certified Coach Class Disneyland is the setting for the (OS1) Certified Coaches class course in 2008. The (OS1) group continues the unique partnership with the Disney Company in offering world class train the trainer curriculum for cleaning in-dustry organizations. The classes will be held at the Grand Californian Hotel and Convention Center on Disney property. This year the class has been expanded to two days and three nights of (OS1) Trainer activities. (OS1) Power Users Meetings The (OS1) Power Users Group meet up to four times per year to plan the (OS1) Users Symposium, conduct benchmarking best practices projects and set the course for the new and professional cleaning industry. Three meetings per year are held during Janitor University week in Salt Lake City and one meeting is held the day following the (OS1) Users Symposium. (OS1) Users Symposium (OS1) Users Symposium is the cleaning industry’s first and oldest benchmarking best practices event. It brings together the best-of-the-best cleaning organizations. The (OS1) Users meet in symposium to participate in net-working discussions. The cleaning industry’s best minds are invited to make presentations. Excellence is rewarded during a peer sponsored Awards Banquet where the prestigious (OS1) "Best" Awards are presented to the organizations demonstrating outstanding practices in cleaning operations.
